Day 2 in minor surgery and we've already done 46 cases. Lots of lumps and bumps, serious stuff if you own one. Made lots of people happy, lots of smiles. I have wonderful nurses helping me, very organized and very caring of the patients. Couldn't do this without them. I cannot imagine having to wait for a medical team to visit and hope they pick me to care for. Have had to turn some people away because their problems are too complicated, we need certain test results or we don't have the right equipment . They still smile and thank us for seeing them that day. That's the really hard part. We want to be here for everyone.

My mission mom..thinking a lot about you...jealous that I can't be there with you, learning from you, as you know it is much needed for me right now. We have sold out on the tickets for the fundraiser, except Ziad and Leonard are giving me a hard time...Leonard has yelled at me for stressing him out...I think he's not speaking with me... :-) otherwise we miss you...so proud of all the good you are doing...

sounds like the Cathy "Lump and Bump" franchise is doing a booming business. be well, have fun, do good (as i knw you will)
