Today was our second day in the OR. Everything ran smoothly, and it turned out to be another rewarding day. Cathy Blaskewicz had another very busy day, seeing 21 more minor surgeries. The hospital even had an emergency ectopic pregnancy rupture arrive in the afternoon, performed by one of the local surgeons, which our very own Chia Chi Wang actively scrubbed in on! Great job to the both of them and all the other ISHI volunteers who continue to inspire and amaze me!

Megan...beautiful photos...please give my love to Chia Chi..she is so amazing... I gave a little speech at my nieces' school today on ISHI and how much I love you guys...and I spoke about her....she's fab... I am eagerly awaiting to hear more stories...I am so so so proud of you all...your mom is such an overachiever....hope you are keeping the residents in check... :-) luv ya !!
