The International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI) launches 2-4 missions per year to bring life saving surgical care to underserved populations around the world. Missions are sometimes proposed in reaction to disasters, such as the three completed trips to Haiti, or through the dedication a team member, or from people who see a need that may not be visible outside of that community.
