The International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI) is a very efficient organization with an entirely volunteer staff (administrative, medical, technical- everyone!)- 95% of our funds go directly to the field, providing crucial surgical care to those who would not have access otherwise. While we spend a few weeks a year on missions, we spend far more time at home fundraising, researching, bookkeeping, and organizing upcoming projects, and can often use additional help.
